How To Enrol

Our school has an enrolment restriction under section 2.2.16 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic).

Approved entry criteria for our school are:

• students who live within the school zone

• students with a sibling attending the school at the same time

• students seeking enrolment on compassionate grounds, in exceptional circumstances.

All students seeking enrolment at our school must meet one of the above criteria to be eligible for enrolment.

The department will review this enrolment restriction yearly and provide updated advice as necessary.

This year, our school is using VicStudents - a secure online system for new enrolments in Victorian government schools.

VicStudents is available at select schools for students who are enrolling in a Victorian government school for the first time. This currently includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2027, and both interstate/international enrolments.

All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline. The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child at a Victorian government primary school.   

What you need to do:  

1. (Optional) Contact us to book a school tour. 

2. Submit an enrolment application by Friday 31st of July, 2026 via VicStudents. 

This means you can submit your Foundation (Prep) application online and receive updates through the system. If you have any questions about the online enrolment process, please contact our school. Paper enrolment application forms are also available on request. 

3. You will be notified of the outcome of your application between Monday 3rd of August and Friday 14th of August, 2026.   

4. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should accept the offer by Friday 28th of August, 2026.  

5. Take part in school transition sessions during Term 4, 2026.  

6. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Thursday 28th of January, 2027.  

Enrolment applications submitted after 31st of July, 2026, will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Enrolment Policy. 

We also accept enrolment applications for students in other year levels. You can submit a request at any time in the school year.   

Eligible students who live within our school zone are guaranteed a place, while students outside the zone may be enrolled if there are available places.
