How to Enrol

IMPORTANT UPDATE
Online enrolment for 2026

This year, our school is using VicStudents, an online system for new enrolments in Victorian government schools.

VicStudents is available at select schools, for students who are enrolling in a Victorian government school for the first time. This includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2026.

VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security.

2026 Foundation (Prep) enrolments

The Department of Education has released the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline for the 2026 school year.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Ramlegh Park Primary School. The timeline also applies to online enrolment.

All government primary schools will follow the timeline in 2025 to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2026 school year.

To enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2026 at Ramlegh Park Primary School, follow the below steps from the 22nd of April, 2025:

  1. Contact our school via phone or email to book a school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
  2. Download and review the Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack
  3. Submit your online application for Foundation (Prep) by Friday the 25th of July, 2025.
  4. You will be notified of the outcome of your application between Monday the 28th of July and Friday the 8th of August, 2025. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should respond to the offer on VicStudents by Friday the 22nd of August, 2025.
  5. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2025.
  6. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Wednesday the 28th of January 2026.
 

Enrolment applications submitted after the 25th of July, 2025 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.

To commence online enrolment, visit VicStudents to register an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application.

If applying for Foundation (Prep) 2026, applications open on VicStudents from the 22nd of April, 2025.

Using a paper form

If you prefer not to use VicStudents, you can choose to enrol using a paper form instead. Please contact us to arrange this.

School Zones
Victorian school zones

Our school zone is available on the Find my School website. The website hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones for 2025 onwards.

Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.
